ஜாவத்தை பள்ளியில் போற்றத்தக்க ஒரு பணி

அஷ்ஷைக் பளீல் (நளீமி)

கொழும்பு 7ல் அமைந்துள்ள ஜாவத்தை ஜும்ஆ பள்ளிவாயலில் குறிப்பாக ஜாவத்தை பிரதேசத்திலும் பொதுவாக கொழும்பின் ஏனைய பகுதிகளிலும் வாழுகின்ற ஏழைகளது அடிப்படையான உணவு, மருந்து,உடை தேவைகளை கருத்தில் கொண்டு இலவசமான சேவை ஒன்று மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

உலர் உணவு விநியோகம்

உலர் உணவுப் பொருட்களைக் கொண்ட இரண்டு அலுமாரிகள் பள்ளிவாயலுக்குள் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

அரிசி, பருப்பு, சீனி, கடலை, இடியாப்ப மாவு, தேங்காய், பால்மாவு போன்ற அத்தியாவசிய உணவுப் பொருட்கள் இங்கு இருக்கின்றன. தேவையானவர்கள் காரியாலயத்தில் உள்ள இதற்குப் பொறுப்பான உத்தியோகத்தர்களைத் தொடர்பு கொண்டு தமது பெயர்களை பதிவு செய்த பின்னர் உணவுப் பண்டங்களைப் பெற்றுக் கொள்ள முடியும். ஒருவருக்கு ஒரு வாரத்திற்கு ஒரு தடவை மாத்திரமே இந்த உதவி வழங்கப்படும்.

மருத்துவ உதவி

அதேபோல இப்பிரதேசத்தில் உள்ள வறிய முதியவர் (Senior Citizens) களுக்குத் தேவையான மருந்துகளை இலவசமாக வழங்குவதற்கான மற்றோர் ஏற்பாடும் செய்யப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

அந்த நோயாளிகள் தமது வைத்தியரால் தமக்கு வழங்கப்பட்ட மருந்துச் சீட்டை (Prescription) காரியாலயத்தில் ஒப்படைத்து அந்த மருந்துகளை பாமஸியில் இருந்து பெற்றுக் கொள்ள முடியும். இதற்காக பள்ளிவாயலில் உள்ள உத்தியோகத்தர் நோயாளிகளை டவுன்ஹோலில் அமைந்துள்ள ஒசுசல பாமஸிக்கு அழைத்துச் சென்று மருந்துகளை கொள்வனவு செய்து கொடுப்பார்.

ஆடை விநியோகம்

ஆடைத் தேவையுடையவர்கள் குறித்த சில ஆடைகளை காரியாலயத்தில் இருந்து பெற்றுக் கொள்வதற்கான ஏற்பாடும் செய்யப்பட்டி இருக்கிறது.

மூக்குக் கண்ணாடி வழங்கல்

காரியாலயத்தில் ஏற்கனவே சில மூக்கண்ணாடிகள் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. கண்பார்வையில் குறைபாடு இருப்பவர்கள் கண் வைத்தியரிடமிருந்து பெற்றுக் கொண்ட(Prescription) ஐ காரியாலயத்தில் காண்பித்து தமக்குப் பொருத்தமான கண்ணாடிகள் அங்கு இருப்பின் அவற்றை எடுத்துச் செல்லலாம்.

ஆனால், எக்காரணத்தை முன்னிட்டும் ஏழைகளுக்கு கைகளில் பணம் ஒப்படைக்கப்படுவதில்லை என்று பள்ளி நிர்வாகம் தீர்மானித்திருக்கிறது.

இந்தப் பணிக்காக ஒவ்வொரு ஜும்ஆவிற்குப் பின்னரும் பிரத்தியேகமான வசூல் ஒன்றையும் நிருவாகம் செய்து வருகிறது.

வரலாற்று முன்மாதிரி

நபிகளார் (ஸல்)அவர்களது காலத்திலும் பின்னர் வந்த குலஃபாஉர் ராஷிதூன்கள் மற்றும் மன்னராட்சி நிலவிய காலங்களிலும் பள்ளிவாயல்கள் சமூகத்தின் வறுமையை கட்டுப்படுத்தும் மத்திய நிலையங்களாக செயல்பட்டுள்ளன. ஜகாத், ஸதகா, கனீமத் உள்ளிட்ட வருமான மூலங்களிலிருந்து பெறப்பட்ட சொத்துக்கள் முறையாக திட்டமிடப்பட்டு தேவையுடையவர்களுக்கு பங்கீடு செய்யப்பட்டிருக்கிருக்கிறது.

இதனை முன்மாதிரியாக கொண்டு ஜாவத்தைப் பள்ளி நிருவாகம் இந்த ஏற்பாட்டை செய்திருப்பதை நினைக்கும் பொழுது சந்தோசமாக இருக்கிறது.

இஸ்லாம் என்பது வெறுமனே நம்பிக்கை கோட்பாடுகளையும் வணக்க வழிபாடுகளையும் மாத்திரம் கொண்டதல்ல. சமூகத்தில் இருக்கும் வறுமைப்பட்டவர்களை அரவணைத்து அவர்களது ஈமானை பாதுகாப்பதற்கான ஏற்பாடுகளையும் இஸ்லாம் செய்திருக்கிறது.

இந்தப் பதிவுக்கு இரண்டு நோக்கங்கள் உள்ளன:-

இப்பணியை முன்மாதிரியாக கொண்டு இலங்கையின் ஏனைய பிரதேசங்களிலும் உள்ள பள்ளிவாயல்கள் செயல்பட வேண்டும்.(சில பள்ளிவாசல்களில் இப்பணி மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வருகிறது என்பதையும் இங்கு நன்றி உணர்வோடு ஞாபகமூட்ட விரும்புகிறோம்)
ஜாவத்தை பள்ளியில் இதற்கான ஏற்பாட்டை செய்திருக்கும் அனைவருக்கும் நாம் அனைவரும் துஆ செய்ய வேண்டும்.

இந்த உயர்ந்த கைங்கரியத்திற்காக ஆலோசனை வழங்கியவர்கள், அமுல் நடத்தும் நிர்வாக சபையினர், பள்ளிவாயல் உத்தியோகஸ்தர்கள், இதற்காக பண,பொருள் உதவி வழங்குபவர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் அல்லாஹுத்தஆலா ‘ஸதகத்துல் ஜாரியா’ என்ற வகையில் உயர்ந்த கூலியை வழங்குவானாக.

இவ்வுதவியை பெற்று செல்லும் ஏழைகள் அடையும் நிம்மதியும் சந்தோஷமும் நிச்சயமாக இந்த கைங்கரியத்தில் சம்பந்தப்பட்டுள்ளவர்களுடைய நன்மைத் தராசை பாரமாக்கும் என்பதில் சந்தேகம் இல்லை.

ජාවත්ත ප්‍රදේශයේ සහ පොදුවේ කොළඹ අවට අනෙකුත් ප්‍රදේශවල ජීවත් වන දිළිඳු ජනතාවගේ මූලික ආහාරෙ, බෙහෙත් සහ ඇඳුම් අවශ්‍යතා සැලකිල්ලට ගෙන නොමිලේ සේවාවක් කොළඹ 7 පිහිටි ජාවත්ත ජුම්මා මුස්ලිම් දේවස්ථානයේ දියත් කෙරේ.

වියළි ආහාර බෙදා හැරීම

වියළි භාණ්ඩ අඩංගු රාක්ක දෙකක් දේවස්ථානය තුළ තබා ඇත.

අත්‍යවශ්‍ය ආහාර ද්‍රව්‍ය වන සහල්, පරිප්පු, සීනි, රටකජු, ඉදියප්ප පිටි, පොල් ආදිය මෙහි ඇත. අවශ්‍යතා ඇති අයට කාර්යාලයේ වගකිවයුතු නිලධාරීන් අමතා තම නම් ලියාපදිංචි කර ආහාර ද්‍රව්‍ය ලබා ගත හැක. පුද්ගලයෙකුට මෙම ආධාරය ලබා දෙන්නේ සතියකට වරක් පමණි.

වෛද්‍ය ආධාර

එසේම කලාපයේ දිළිඳු ජ්‍යෙෂ්ඨ පුරවැසියන් සඳහා නොමිලේ ඖෂධ ලබාදීමට ද කටයුතු සම්පාදනය ඇත.

එම රෝගීන්ට තම වෛද්‍යවරයා විසින් ලබාදෙන බෙහෙත් වට්ටෝරුව කාර්යාලයට භාර දී එම ඖෂධ ෆාමසියෙන් ලබා ගත හැක. මේ සඳහා දේවස්ථානයේ අදාළ නිලධාරියා විසින් රෝගීන් ‘ටවුන් හෝල්’හි පිහිටි ඔසුසලට රැගෙන ගොස් අවශ්‍ය ඖෂධ මිල දී ලබා දෙයි.

ඇඳුම් බෙදා හැරීම

ඇඳුම් අවශ්‍ය අය සඳහා ඇඳුම් කිහිපයක් කාර්යාලයෙන් ලබා ගැනීමට ද කටයුතු යොදා ඇත.

ඇස් කණ්ණාඩි සැපයීම

ඇස් කණ්ණාඩි කිහිපයක් දැනටමත් කාර්යාලයේ තබා ඇති අතර දෘශ්‍යාබාධිත පුද්ගලයින්ට කාර්යාලයේ අක්ෂි වෛද්‍යවරයාගෙන් ලබා ගන්නා විස්තර ලේඛණය පෙන්වා, අදාළ ඇස් කණ්ණාඩිය රැගෙන යා හැක.

කෙසේ නමුත් දේවස්ථානයේ කළමනාකාරීත්වය තීරණය කර ඇත්තේ කිසිදු හේතුවක් මත දුප්පතුන්ට මුදල් ලබා නොදෙන බවයි.

මේ සඳහා සෑම සිකුරාදා දිනකම ජුමුආ දේශනයෙන් පසු විශේෂ මුදල් රැස් කිරීමක් ද සිදු කෙරේ.

ඓතිහාසික ආදර්ශයක්

නබි (සල්ලල්ලාහු අලයිහි වසල්ලම්) තුමාණන්ගේ කාලයේ මෙන්ම ඉන් පසුව ‘කුලෆාවුර් රාෂිදුන්වරුන්ගේ සහ රාජාණ්ඩු කාලය තුළ ද මුස්ලිම් දේවස්ථාන මහජනයාගේ දුප්පත්කම පාලනය කිරීමේ මධ්‍යස්ථාන ලෙස සේවය කර ඇත. සකාත්, සදකා, ඝනීමත් ආදී ආදායම් මාර්ගවලින් ලැබෙන වත්කම් නිසි ලෙස සැලසුම් කර අසරණයන් වෙත බෙදා දී ඇත.

ජාවත්ත මුස්ලිම් දේවස්ථානයේ කළමනාකාරීත්වය මෙම ආදර්ශය පදනම් කරගෙන මෙම වැඩපිළිවෙළ සකස් කර තිබීම සතුටට කරුණකි.

ඉස්ලාම් යනු ඇදහිලි සහ චාරිත්‍ර වාරිත්‍ර පමණක් නොවේ. සමාජයේ දුප්පතුන් ආරක්ෂා කිරීමට සහ ඔවුන්ගේ විශ්වාසය ආරක්ෂා කිරීමට ද ඉස්ලාමය කටයුතු යොදා ඇත.

මෙම සටහනට අරමුණු දෙකක් ඇත:-

ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ අනෙකුත් ප්‍රදේශවල මුස්ලිම් දේවස්ථාන මෙම කාර්යය ආදර්ශයට ගත යුතුය.
ජාවත්ත මුස්ලිම් දේවස්ථානයේ මේ සඳහා කටයුතු සම්පාදනය කර ඇති සියලුම දෙනා වෙනුවෙන් අප ප්‍රාර්ථනා කළ යුතුය.

මෙම මහඟු කාර්යය සඳහා උපදෙස් දුන්, කළමනාකරණ මණ්ඩලය, පල්ලියේ නිලධාරීන් සහ මේ සඳහා මූල්‍ය හා ද්‍රව්‍යමය ආධාර ලබා දුන් සැමට අල්ලාහ් ‘සදකතුල් ජාරියා’ නම් ත්‍යාග පිරිනමනු ඇත.

මෙම ආධාර ලබන දුප්පතුන්ගේ සහනය සහ සතුට නිසැකවම මෙම කාර්යයේ නියැලී සිටින අයගේ කුසල් පිරුණු තුලාවට බරක් වන බවට කිසිදු සැකයක් නැත.

An admirable task implemented at the Jawatte Jummah Masjid

A free service is being carried out considering the basic food, medicine and clothing needs of the poor living around the Jawaththa mosque, Colombo 7 area.

Distribution of dry food

Two shelves containing dry foods are kept inside the mosque.

Essential food items such as rice, dhal, sugar, groundnuts, string hoppers flour, and coconut are kept here. The needy can contact the responsible officers and register their names, and then they get the food items.

This assistance is given only once a week to a person.

Medical assistance

Similarly, other arrangements have been made to provide free medicines to the poor senior citizens of the region.

Those patients can hand over the prescription given to them by their doctor at the office and get those medicines from the pharmacy. For this purpose, the officer in the mosque takes the patients to osusala Pharmacy located in the town hall and buys the medicines.

Distribution of clothing

Arrangements have also been made to collect some clothes from the office for those in need of clothing.

Supply of spectacles

A few spectacles are already placed in the office. People with visual impairment can show the prescription obtained from the ophthalmologist at the office and take the appropriate glasses if they are available there.

However, the Maosque management has decided that money will not be handed over to the needy.

A special collection is also being orgenised after every Jum’ah for this purpose.

Historical example

During the time of the Prophet (PBUH) and later the Khulafaur Rashiduns and the Baithul maal, mosques served as centres of control over the poverty of the community. Assets received from income sources such as Zakat, Sadaqah, Ghaneemath etc. have been properly planned and distributed to the needy.

It is gratifying to think that the Jawattha mosque management has made this arrangement based on this example.

Islam is not just about creeds and rituals. Islam has also made arrangements to protect the poor in society and protect their faith.

The purpose of posting this is under two objectives:

Every Mosques should try this action in other parts of Sri Lanka
We should all make dua to all those who have made arrangements for this in jawattha mosque.

May Almighty Allah reward all those who gave advice for this great work, the management board, the mosque officials, and those who provided financial and material support for this, in the form of ‘Sadakatul Zaria’.

There is no doubt that the relief and happiness of the poor who receive this assistance will certainly weigh on the balance of good for those involved in this work.
